You’ll need a bowl and a deep frying pan
Ingredients
for the meatballs:
500g beef mince
1 onion, grated & liquid squeezed out
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ground cumin
50g breadcrumbs
1 egg yolk
salt & pepper
for the sauce:
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, diced
2 tsp mild chilli powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic granules
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tin chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato purée
200ml beef stock
150g Dromona Mature Cheddar

How It’s Done:
To make the meatballs, put all the ingredients (and plenty of seasoning) in a bowl and mix really well with your hands and roll into small balls
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a deep pan. Cook the meatballs & diced onions until well browned all over
Add the the chilli & spices and fry for 1-2 minutes, add pepper, tomatoes and stock. Simmer for 20 minutes
Sprinkle Dromona Mature Cheddar Cheese on top and place under the grill until melted and gooey
Serve with your side of choice
