This is the perfect dish for any occasion. Filled with buttery, cheesy deliciousness to have you drooling! #DromonaMakesIt
How It’s Done:
Slice the bread – we recommend several slices diagonally each-way on the bread
If making your own pizza sauce: Heat the oil in a saucepan over a low heat, then add the onion. Fry gently until the onion has softened. Add the garlic and fry for a further min. Tip in the tomatoes and purée along with the bay leaf, oregano and sugar. Bring to the boil and lower the heat. Simmer, for 30-35 mins or until thickened and reduced. Season. Blitz and stir in the basil.
Fill the cracks of the bread with your pizza sauce
Stuff with the cheese mix and then the pepperoni
Melt the butter and add garlic and chopped parsley
Pour the garlic butter over your bread – as much or as little as you desire
Cover and bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes
